Daryl Holzer joined Consumer Direct in September 2003 as Systems Director overseeing all software and hardware systems.  He was responsible for several administrative office functions, such as Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Data Entry, Information Technology and Cash Management.  Daryl worked to improve process flow efficiencies throughout those functionalities for all office locations.   He became Vice President of Finance and continued working in many of the same areas.  He worked on a large system conversion, including design work on custom-built software to support the needs of the Company.  In October 2012, he became the Chief Analytics Officer, leading efforts to increase efficiency and analyze future needs and business models.

Prior to joining Consumer Direct, Daryl worked as Controller of St. Patrick Hospital for seven years.  As Controller, he oversaw financial statement preparation, accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and worked with auditors for both financials and cost reporting.  He assisted in the information system conversion and built a budgeting system. He used computer skills to create reports and query data for decision making processes.

Daryl worked as Assistant Accounting Manager for Alexander & Alexander of Texas for five years.  In this position, he analyzed client profitability and worked with account managers to determine rolling financial forecast.  In addition, he designed a Forecast/Income Tracking System, which reduced time required by each manager to project their rolling forecast.  Prior to joining Alexander & Alexander, Daryl worked for Electronic Data Systems and Texas Oil and Gas improving accounting processes.

Daryl simultaneously earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Business Administration and the other in Computer Science.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
