Mickey is currently the Compliance Officer at Consumer Direct Management Solutions. In this role, he oversees Risk Management, Quality Improvement, and Document Management. For the past five years he has been lucky enough to work in his hometown, Missoula, Montana, for Consumer Direct.
Mickey started with Consumer Direct in 2007, as a Special Projects Coordinator. In that role, he worked on business plans and implementation of a document management system. From 2009 to 2011, Mickey was the Quality Improvement Manager. He was in charge of internal reviews, and paperless file system adoption. In addition, Mickey assisted sister companies with new business development including financial projections and business plans.
In 2011, Mickey was promoted to Quality Improvement Director. His responsibilities increased with new roles in Human Resources and Risk Management analytics. In late 2012, he assumed his current role as Compliance Officer.
Prior to working for Consumer Direct, Mickey worked as a Legal Assistant at Ogg Law Offices and McCann Law Firm, assisting attorneys in preparation for trial through research and a detailed analysis of medical records.
Mickey earned an MBA from the University of Montana with a corresponding Entrepreneurship Certificate and a BA in History from the University of Washington. He volunteers at the University of Montana coaching graduate students on business plan development and working as a judge at the annual business plan competition.
Mickey lives with his wife Hillary and their three boys, Emmett, Henry and Zander. He loves spending time with his family, and enjoys the outdoors, skiing, hiking, and traveling.
