Katie McGuire is Consumer Direct of Colorado’s FMS and Operations Supervisor. Katie oversees the implementation of special projects, oversight of administrative processes, and provides CDASS trainings for the Denver surrounding areas.
Katie relocated from Saint Louis to join our team in Colorado bringing a vast amount of knowledge and experience working with individuals with disabilities of all ages and backgrounds. She developed her passion for working with people with disabilities because of her brother’s experiences that occurred after acquiring a physical disability as a teenager. This motivated her to become an advocate for empowering people with disabilities in expanding their choice and control in all areas of their lives increasing independence.
Before joining the Consumer Direct team, Katie worked as the Program Manager for Supported Education at an Independent Living Center in Saint Louis.
