The state of Colorado is introducing a new paid family and medical leave insurance (FAMLI) program. Through the FAMLI program, most Colorado workers will be eligible for up to 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave starting in January 2024.

For the Consumer Directed Attendant Support Services (CDASS) program, the FAMLI program is funded by premiums made by the employer for the full 0.9% across the board regardless of employee count. If there are changes to this approach, Members will be notified by their FMS and HCPF.
